Block Printed Seed Packets

A fellow maker friend told me about Block Print Fest so I decided to check it out. I’m not going to be able to take in the entire program because it is jam packed with goodness and I’m currently buried trying to build my website, but I did start looking into it and checked out a seed packet tutorial by Little Enn.

It was so inspirational and really got my creativity going! I decided to do draw up a tomato print and a seed print that would be sort of a random pattern block.

I drew up my designs then got to carving! Then you take your prints and turn them into little seed packets with the template she provides - how cute is that?

I think the little tomatoes are my favorite. I have since tweaked the seeds pattern a bit and in the future I would do a few things differently, but this was a really fun way to get creative and make something without getting stuck in my head.
